The team of the MetPhil project (Croatian Science Foundation IP-2022-10-2550) is pleased to announce the twelfth workshop in the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The workshop will be held on Thursday<\/strong>, October 16th<\/strong> at 18.00 CET<\/strong> over the Zoom<\/strong> platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The topic of the workshop will be a talk given by Professor Mark Balaguer<\/strong> who is Regular Faculty<\/strong> at the Department of Philosophy<\/strong>, California State University<\/strong>, Los Angeles<\/strong>. The title of the talk is “How to Be a One-Thinger<\/strong>“. In it Balaguer will defend a position called 3D-one-thingism, the view that there are no such things as coincident or 4D objects. He will do this by developing a novel theory of reference which he calls Names Follow Properties<\/em> (NFP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n This workshop will consist of a presentation followed by a moderated discussion.
