The MetPhil project team is pleased to share that Vito Balorda and Matija Rajter participated in the “12th European Congress of Analytic Philosophy” which was held in Madrid, Spain.
During the congress, Balorda delivered a talk titled “Waismann’s Open Texture: The Many Faces of a Biological Mechanism Concept” while Rajter presented “Forward-Looking Concept Functions and Conceptual Engineering”. The talks addressed important issues in the philosophy of science, metaphilosophy, and conceptual engineering. It generated valuable discussion among participants and faculty members from different international institutions.
Participation in this international inaugural conference represented an important opportunity for early-career researchers to exchange ideas, receive feedback, and establish academic connections within the wider research community.
